Affiliate disclosure
Last updated 24 September 2026
You can use ainsfw.tools without paying anything. The site makes its money from two sources: affiliate (partner) links and sponsored placements that are always labelled. This affiliate disclosure covers how each of them works and where they stop.
How partner links work
Plenty of platforms offer an affiliate programme. If we hold a partner link for a platform and you go on to subscribe or buy credits after clicking through, that platform pays us a commission, and your price stays exactly the same. Any link from our pages to a platform could be a partner link, and the main buttons are marked "Affiliate link".
All platform links pass through our own redirect so that we can count clicks. What gets recorded is set out in the privacy policy.
Partner picks
At the top of our lists, the "Partner picks" box features up to three platforms we have partner links with: the best-ranked partner on that list, the partner offering the most free use, and the partner with the lowest price. Badges like "Best free" or "Lowest price" are shown only when that pick leads every platform, partner or not. Because the box sits above the numbered list and leaves it untouched, a platform with no partner programme can still rank higher than everything in the box.
How scores, rankings and listings are set
- Scores. We rate every platform against the same six criteria, whether or not it runs a partner programme. Our methodology describes the process.
- Rankings. Numbered lists are ordered by score. The one exception is the best free list, which is ordered by how generous the free tier is. Some links are affiliate links; partner platforms are labelled.
- Character lists. When character lists use their default order (Featured and Popular), characters from partner platforms appear first. Those platforms rotate, so the order shifts daily. Sorting by newest, rating, clicks or name does not take partner links into account.
- Reviews. We cover prices, free tier limits, pros and cons in the same format for every platform.
Platforms without a partner programme
A few platforms run no partner programme at all. We list, review and rank them by the same standards as everyone else, and their reviews include a plain link to their site. On their review and character pages, the main button points to a partner platform with a comparable offer and says so, while a link to the original platform or character remains right beside it.
Sponsored placements
Platforms can buy a featured spot on the home page and inside category lists. Any paid spot carries a "Sponsored" label, and reviews and scores are written separately from it.
