Xeve AI review

Xeve AI is a browser-based adult AI companion service from Jay Web Development & Services in Olching, Germany. It pairs character chat with live AI video calls, picture and video generation and a character builder. Membership costs $12.99 a month, or $7.09 a month on the yearly plan, and pictures and videos are paid for with credits on top. We have not tested Xeve AI by hand yet, so this review is based on its own pages. Our score: 7.1/10.

Best for live AI video calls with your companion

Xeve AI calls itself an adult AI companion platform. Besides chatting with ready-made characters, you can start a live AI video chat in which the character answers with lip-synced video, generate pictures and short videos of a character, and build your own companion by choosing looks, voice, personality and relationship style. The catalogue mixes AI-made characters, anime characters and a few based on video footage of real adult performers.

It is a web app for desktop and mobile browsers, with no app to download. Its documentation says chats are stored on Google Cloud in Belgium and that requests sent to the AI providers carry no email address or account ID. Age checks with an ID document and a selfie, run by the provider Didit, are asked for only when a payment provider or the law requires them.

Why this score. Features score highest, because live video calls are still rare among chat platforms and pictures and video sit in the same place. Chat quality stays moderate until we test it: Xeve does not name the AI models it uses or say how its memory works. Value is fair on the yearly plan, but generation credits come on top and cannot be refunded. Privacy and payments gain from a German operator under the GDPR, a promise not to train on chats, storage in the EU and crypto payments. Ease of use reflects a browser-only service with no app.
