Swipey AI (written SWIPEY in its legal pages) is an AI girlfriend platform that runs in the browser and belongs to INVAI LTD, a private company set up in Nicosia, Cyprus in April 2024. The domain dates from December 2024, which the site gives as its launch, and the earliest models in its data appeared in February 2025. Its public lists contain 131 characters. Of these, 109 are house models built by Swipey (58 realistic, 51 anime, all women except two trans women, with listed ages between 18 and 60), and 22 are Verified Creator Models: AI twins of real women aged 20 to 37 who cleared an ID check, each with a paid Fan Club. You discover them through a TikTok-like feed of clips and posts, talk one to one or in group chats, and can design private Custom AIs with a four-step builder that drafts opening scenarios. During a chat, characters can send photos based on the conversation, 5 to 60 second video scenes from two video models (one with sound and lip-sync), photo-to-video clips and voice notes. Premium unlocks live voice calls that keep a transcript and a relationship bar that hands out gift videos as you level up; a handful of models also offer full-screen 'Play With Me' live video, and some have episodic video series.
Signing up needs no card, but there is not much to try for free. A new account receives about 20 Hearts (the site's currency), each free message costs 2 Hearts, and the terms cap free use at 10 messages. Premium costs 19.99 for month one, 47.99 for a quarter, or 95.99 for a full year (shown on the pricing page as '7.99 a month'), each labelled as a 50% to 80% saving against 39.99 a month. According to the checkout code, a hands-on review and Trustpilot users, renewals then charge that full rate: 39.99 a month, 119.97 per quarter or 479.88 a year. Premium covers unlimited messages, 200 Hearts a month and one creator's Fan Club, and almost everything else is paid in Hearts: 10 per photo in chat, 20 to 40 per 5 seconds of video, 30 per generator image, and voice calls by the minute. Checkout screenshots from third parties show packs ranging from 9.99 for 50 Hearts to 209.99 for 2,760 plus a bonus, roughly 0.07 to 0.20 USD a Heart. Fan Clubs for other creators run 5 to 20 USD each, and under the terms every purchase is final.
Swipey AI fits people who want a game-like, media-rich AI girlfriend with video scenes, live calls and AI versions of real creators, and who buy the yearly plan aware that it renews at full price. Be aware of the limits: no native apps, voice calls only in English, a help center that still lists group chats as coming soon, sale countdowns that one reviewer saw restart, and Trustpilot reports of repeat 39.99 charges that users didn't recognise or couldn't cancel. Visitors without an account can open a chat and read a character's first message, but they can't reply. New accounts receive a small Hearts balance (20 according to the site's settings; a June 2026 review got 16), and free users spend 2 Hearts per message, which works out to about 10 messages, matching the figure in the terms. A user in September 2026 found that playing each voice message cost 3 Hearts, and photos, video and building a character are paid in Hearts too. After a few clips the feed puts up a Premium wall, and Premium is required for voice calls, NSFW images, relationship levels and Custom AI chats, even though the help center talks about free text chat with any companion. You can top up free Hearts through daily rewards, quests, the Discord server (20 for joining), saving a card (20, per the site's settings) and referrals (100 once a friend makes a purchase). Our 26 September 2026 test agreed: 20 Hearts, 2 per message, 10 messages. Trial: There is no free Premium trial; answering a February 2026 Trustpilot review, the company said it does not offer trial subscriptions. The plan data served on 25 September 2026 also contains welcome pop-up deals of 3 days for 2.99 including 50 Hearts and a first month for 11.99 including 200 Hearts, plus a yearly 'special' at 71.99, which the checkout code likewise renews at full price. Packs, from third-party captures between June and September 2026 because the store requires sign-in: 50 Hearts for 9.99, 220 plus 20 bonus for 34.99, 520 plus 120 for 49.99, 1,150 plus 150 for 99.99 and 2,760 plus 360 for 209.99, set against struck-through prices of 29.99 to 699.99. That is 0.20 down to 0.067 USD per Heart, so a 10-second Siren video comes to roughly 5.40 to 16 USD. Purchased Hearts last as long as the account does, failed generations are refunded in Hearts, and deleting your account wipes the balance. Fan Clubs are their own real-money subscriptions: in the public profile data the 22 creators' Fan Clubs cost 5, 10 or 20 USD each (16 of them 10), displayed beside a struck-through price twice as high, and Premium includes one.

Refunds: Under the terms (version 3.0, 1 August 2026), every purchase is final and non-refundable unless mandatory law says otherwise, and buyers in the EU and UK give up the 14-day withdrawal right once the service begins. The help center says support looks at refund requests one by one (accidental purchases, duplicate charges or an unused subscription) via hello@swipey.ai; there is no refund button. Cancelling in Settings ends renewal while keeping Premium until the paid period runs out; Hearts, the gallery and relationship levels stay, and a Custom AI chat locks 7 days after Premium lapses until you renew. The terms say plan changes start at the next billing cycle, but the help center says upgrades take effect immediately. Complaints go to compliance@swipey.ai, which acknowledges them within 5 business days.

What we could not verify
- Renewal price: the checkout code renews every plan at the equivalent of 39.99 a month because none is flagged as a flat rebill, a hands-on review reports the 479.88 yearly renewal, and Trustpilot users report 39.99 monthly charges; we did not see the renewal on a statement, and it is not stated whether support will reduce it if asked.
- Whether free Hearts from daily rewards and quests add more messages: our new account got 20 Hearts at 2 a message, or 10 messages (26 September 2026), in line with the terms, while the help center talks about free text chat with any companion.
- Hearts pack prices rely on third-party captures (June to September 2026) since the store requires sign-in; an April 2026 review gave the smallest pack as 14.99 rather than 9.99.
- Voice call rates per minute, shown only before the first call; the public creator settings allow creators to charge 10 to 50 Hearts a minute for calls with their AI twin.
- Card descriptor: a neutral company name is promised by the help center, yet an April 2026 review saw 'swipey AI Nicosia' on a statement, and a Trustpilot user says the merchant name changed after a card block.
- Feature status: group chats are enabled in the site's settings and a June 2026 review saw the button, but the help center still lists them as coming soon; kink tiers are 'releasing soon', and editing a Custom AI, which the help center says you can do any time, is restricted to test users in the settings.
- Whether real creators join in personally: the pricing page promises direct custom-content requests to Verified Creators, but the terms and the anti-slavery policy state that every interaction is with AI and no human takes part in real time.
- Which chat, image, video and voice models power the service, and what sits behind the Siren and Vixen video names.
- How long the 'back to college' campaign will last (the settings also hold Halloween, Christmas, Fourth of July and summer themes), and how its promotional art squares with the terms' own content rules.
- Payment options in each region: the pricing page shows Visa, Mastercard and crypto, the footer adds Apple Pay and Google Pay, and the help center says options differ by country.
- Unsupported scale claims: the home page displays a Discord banner reading '16,865 Online', while the site's Discord stats endpoint showed 122 online, and a hands-on review saw a counter claiming more than 9,000 members watching reels.
