We tested Nectar AI on a free account
We opened a fresh English-language account and chatted first with Amélie Dupont, an official character aged 22, before moving to Olivia Wells, also official and 28, for the adult scene. Every figure below comes from our own browser session, not from the platform's marketing.
Free messages before the limit

The day runs for 24 hours from your first message and covers every chat.
Message 16 refused to send. By then Amélie had received 8, Daniela Rodriguez 1 and Olivia Wells 6. The site gives no reset time: sending still failed at midnight UTC and at midnight Pacific, and resumed on 28 September at 17:02 UTC, a full 24 hours after the previous day's opening message.
How far the free account went
Fully explicit on freeAmélie judged a kiss to be premature, a fair choice for her character. Daniela Rodriguez's story begins with drinks at a bar, a setup our test skips, so we moved the adult scene to Olivia Wells, written as someone who has wanted you for a long time. She played coy ("You'll have to earn every inch"), took her own clothes off once we handed her the lead, and the free account carried the scene all the way to explicit.

The yearly option includes 5,000 credits a month plus 2,500 bonus credits in month one, payable by card or Bitcoin. Nectar's plan data also names Premium (9.99) and Pro (19.99 a month), but neither was shown to our new account.

- A "Message Limit Reached!" banner asked us to choose a plan and listed just one, Ultimate, at 12.99 monthly or 4.99 a month on a 59.99 yearly bill.
- Pictures
- After 10 free pictures the image creator switched to "Unlock advanced image creator features" and the same Ultimate pitch. The default model is labelled SFW, yet the Realistic model costs nothing as well and produced a topless image of an adult woman when asked. Images get a small nectar.ai watermark, and free users may also send one photo message in chat.
- Memory
- Ten messages after we gave the dog a name (using the following day's allowance), she insisted no dog had ever come up. Free accounts hold only the latest 15 messages in memory.
- Also seen
- Replies display a voice clip duration, yet free voice notes are paid for with credits and new accounts hold none. The home page puts multi-character "fantasies" (group storylines) up front.

Nectar AI, also known as TryNectar, is a companion and roleplay service operated by Nectar AI in Dover, Delaware, alongside Lick Labs Ltd in London. You design companions in a highly detailed creator, talk to them one on one or inside multi-character 'fantasy' stories, and produce images and short videos of them. The catalog is split into girl, guy and anime characters, and members can share their own companions and fantasies publicly.
On the free tier you get 15 messages and 10 images a day. Subscriptions run 9.99, 19.99 or 34.99 USD a month, or between 59.99 and 179.99 a year, lifting message caps, memory and picture quality; the highest tier also brings video, voice calls and 2,500 credits each month. When we tested on 27 September 2026, our fresh account saw just one plan, Ultimate, priced at 12.99 monthly or 59.99 yearly. Advanced models and longer memory are paid for with separately purchased credits.
Pick Nectar if shaping a character in detail and getting pictures inside the story matter most to you. The drawbacks: credits that reviewers say are hard to plan for, no native phone apps, a card descriptor that reveals the service, and no refunds beyond the legal minimum.

How many free messages does Nectar AI give?
Our new free account, tested on 27 Sep 2026, received 15 messages a day. That day lasts 24 hours from your first message, and every chat draws on the same count. Message 16 would not send; Amélie had taken 8 by then, Olivia Wells 6 and Daniela Rodriguez 1. There is no visible reset clock: messages were still blocked at midnight UTC and midnight Pacific time, and started working at 17:02 UTC on 28 September, exactly 24 hours after the previous day's opening message.
Is Nectar AI filtered on the free plan?
Not in our 27 Sep 2026 test on a free account: flirting, undressing and explicit sex all went through. Amélie decided a kiss came too early, which is her right within the story. Because Daniela Rodriguez's scenario starts with drinks at a bar, which we leave out of testing, we ran the adult scene with Olivia Wells, a character who has quietly wanted you for ages. Her teasing line was "You'll have to earn every inch"; she undressed once we let her lead, and the scene reached fully explicit territory without paying.

Does Nectar AI allow NSFW chat?
Yes. Adults can have explicit conversations on Nectar AI with no filter in the way.
Is Nectar AI safe to use?
The operator is Nectar AI, a US company, and its name may show up on your card statement. No real name is needed to register. You can pay in crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and 100+ others) or by credit or debit card. According to the site, card charges read 'Nectar Vixen AI'. The privacy policy (updated 28 January 2026) says an email address is all you need to activate an account. Per the FAQ, chats and generated media stay private, are not passed to third parties and are not used to train outside AI models. The privacy policy does allow government ID data to be collected when an identity check calls for it. Chat history from a premium plan may no longer be reachable once the subscription lapses. As with any AI companion, keep identifying details about yourself and other real people out of your chats.
