You can talk to one of more than 100 premade characters drawn in realistic or anime style, or build a partner from scratch by choosing looks, personality, voice and interests. Everything runs on subscriptions. A free account stops at 5 messages overall, plus one custom character and one picture. Premium lifts the message cap and gives 100 tokens a month for pictures, voice, video and extra content packs, with more tokens on sale in bundles. Premium Plus adds a bigger monthly token allowance, user personas and memory slots.
Candy.ai fits people who want pictures and clips next to their chats and don't mind planning a token budget. Keep in mind the trade-offs: no native phone app (only a PWA), a 24-hour refund window, and terms that let chats feed AI model training.

Is Candy.ai safe to use?
EverAI Limited (Malta) operates Candy.ai, and charges show up on statements as 'EverAI' rather than the site name. Accepted payments are credit card, debit card, cryptocurrency, Apple Pay and Google Pay. You sign in with email and password, Google or Discord. Under the terms, EverAI holds a perpetual license to what users create, training AI models included; the privacy notice (revised 30 July 2026) adds that staff may review de-identified chats to build training datasets, and that messages may pass to third-party LLM providers and moderation tools. Flagged content can get a manual review. Data stays for up to three years after your last activity unless you ask for deletion, and you can delete the account in settings. As with any companion app, keep details that identify you or other real people out of your chats.

- The cost of Premium Plus, which the public pricing page does not list.
- Official token bundle prices and token costs per action: the token shop sits behind a login, so these numbers come from 2026 reviews.
- Which currency applies where: an EU visitor saw EUR on the official pricing page (13.99, 8.99, 3.99), while a US review from September 2026 shows the same numbers in USD.
- Checkout also displayed weekly (5.60 EUR) and bi-weekly (9.79 EUR) amounts, and it is not clear which regions or payment methods use them.
- What happens to tokens after cancelling: the terms (22 September 2026) say unused tokens expire, but an August 2026 help article says you keep the balance.
- The year the company was founded.
