Our 26 September 2026 test confirmed this: message six triggered a sale screen, and the single free picture was clothed. Trial: we found no time-limited premium trial on the official pages; the homepage calls the free tier above a 'free trial'.

Hybrid. Paying unlocks unlimited text chat, while tokens are spent on pictures, voice notes, voice calls, turning images into video, building custom characters and private content packs. A review from September 2026 puts the costs at roughly 4 tokens per picture, 3 per minute of voice call, 10 per custom character and 12 per video conversion, with bundles running from 9.99 for 100 tokens to 299.99 for 3,750 tokens. The terms (revised 22 September 2026) say leftover subscription tokens are lost once a cancelled plan runs out.

Refunds: You can ask for a refund within 24 hours of paying, but only for card payments and only if you spent 20 tokens or fewer (token packs must be unused). Users in the EU and UK can withdraw from the first purchase, minus a prorated amount for what they already used.
